Material errors should be corrected visibly
What a report should include
A useful correction identifies the page URL, the disputed field and a direct official source. Legal, safety and ownership conflicts can suspend the affected claim immediately.
How changes are assessed
The replacement fact is checked against the source hierarchy. A substantive correction receives a real review date; dates are not refreshed merely to make a page look current.
